FOPPS (PTA)
The school Parent-Teacher Association is called FOPPS (Friends of Puriton Primary School). All parents become members of FOPPS as soon as their child joins the school.
Through a range of exciting activities and events, FOPPS raises money for the school to use to enhance the learning opportunities for the children. FOPPS provides the "icing on the cake" for children's school experiences.
The chair of FOPPS is Mrs Susie Norris. Mrs Norris is a teaching assistant at Puriton as well as a parent. If you would like to get involved with supporting FOPPS, please speak with Mrs Norris.
October half term competition 2022
Children in EYFS/KS1 were asked to design a pumpkin and children in KS2 were asked to write an Autumn acrostic poem. All entries received a small treat and the two winners were given some art goodies as a prize.
Well done to Beatrix for winning the design a pumpkin and to Penny for winning the acrostic poem.
Penny's poem was so wonderful, we wanted to share it with you!
Amber leaves falling from the trees
Under blankets so comfy, cosy and warm
Temperature dropping, time for coats
Unhappy faces when rain falls down
Monsters roaming the streets looking for treats
Nights come quickly in the wonderful autumn time
